Coretta Scott King, 78, Dies-What A Great Woman, Married To A Great Man, Who Did So Much To Fight Against The Racism That The Mormon Church Supported!

ATLANTA — Coretta Scott King, who turned a life shattered by her husband's assassination into one devoted to enshrining his legacy of human rights and equality, has died at the age of 78.

Flags at the King Center were lowered to half-staff Tuesday morning.

"We appreciate the prayers and condolences from people across the country," the King family said in a statement. The family said she died during the night. The widow of the Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. suffered a serious stroke and heart attack last August.

"It's a bleak morning for me and for many people and yet it's a great morning because we have a chance to look at her and see what she did and who she was," poet Maya Angelou said on ABC's "Good Morning America."

"It's bleak because I can't — many of us can't hear her sweet voice — but it's great because she did live, and she was ours. I mean African-Americans and white Americans and Asians, Spanish-speaking — she belonged to us and that's a great thing."

Gov. Sonny Perdue ordered flags at all state buildings to be flown at half-staff and offered to allow King to lie in state at the Capitol. There was no immediate response to the offer, the governor's office said

King died at Santa Monica Health Institute, a holistic health center in Rosarito Beach, Mexico, south of San Diego, said her sister, Edythe Scott Bagley of Cheyney, Pa.

Bishop T.D. Jakes of the Potter's House in Dallas, one of the nation's largest Christian megachurches, said he helped arrange her trip to Mexico but didn't know much about the treatment she received there.

She had gone to California to rest and be with family, according to Former Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young, who broke the news of her death on NBC's "Today" show.

At a news conference, Young said Coretta King's fortitude rivaled that of her husband.

"She was strong if not stronger than he was," Young said. "She lived a graceful and beautiful life, and in spite of all of the difficulties, she managed a graceful and beautiful passing."

She was a supportive lieutenant to her husband during the most tumultuous days of the American civil rights movement, and after his assassination in Memphis, Tenn., on April 4, 1968, she kept his dream alive while also raising their four children.

"I'm more determined than ever that my husband's dream will become a reality," King said soon after his slaying.

She goaded and pulled for more than a decade to have her husband's birthday observed as a national holiday, first celebrated in 1986.

King became a symbol, in her own right, of her husband's struggle for peace and brotherhood, presiding with a quiet, steady, stoic presence over seminars and conferences on global issues.

The Rev. Jesse Jackson, who was with her husband when he was assassinated, said Tuesday that she understood that every time he left home, there was the chance he might not come back. "Like all great champions, she learned to function with pain and keep serving," he said. "So her legacy is secure as a freedom fighter, but her work remains unfinished."

In Washington, President Bush hailed her as "a remarkable and courageous woman, and a great civil rights leader."

King wrote a book, "My Life With Martin Luther King Jr.," and, in 1969 founded the multimillion-dollar Martin Luther King Jr. Center for Nonviolent Social Change. She saw to it that the center became deeply involved with the issues she said breed violence — hunger, unemployment, voting rights and racism.

"The center enables us to go out and struggle against the evils in our society," she often said.

She became increasingly outspoken against businesses such as film and television companies, video arcades, gun manufacturers and toy makers she accused of promoting violence. She called for regulation of their advertising.

After her stroke, King missed the annual King holiday celebration in Atlanta two weeks ago, but she did appear with her children at an awards dinner a couple of days earlier, smiling from her wheelchair but not speaking. The crowd gave her a standing ovation.

At the same time, the King Center's board of directors was considering selling the site to the National Park Service to let the family focus less on grounds maintenance and more on King's message. Two of the four children were strongly against such a move.

Also in the news recently was a new book, "At Canaan's Edge" by Taylor Branch, that put allegations of her husband's infidelity back in the spotlight. It said her husband confessed a long-standing affair to her not long before he was assassinated.

Coretta Scott was studying voice at the New England Conservatory of Music and planning on a singing career when a friend introduced her to Martin Luther King, a young Baptist minister studying at Boston University.

"She said she wanted me to meet a very promising young minister from Atlanta," King once said, adding with a laugh: "I wasn't interested in meeting a young minister at that time."

She recalled that on their first date he told her: "You know, you have everything I ever wanted in a woman. We ought to get married someday." Eighteen months later — June 18, 1953 — they did, at her parents' home in Marion, Ala.

The couple moved to Montgomery, Ala., where he became pastor of the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church and organized the famed Montgomery bus boycott in 1955. With that campaign, King began enacting his philosophy of direct social action.

Over the years, King was with her husband in his finest hours. She was at his side as he received the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964. She marched beside him from Selma, Ala., into Montgomery in 1965 for the triumphal climax to his drive for a voting rights law.

Only days after his death, she flew to Memphis with three of her children to lead thousands marching in honor of her slain husband and to plead for his cause.

"I think you rise to the occasion in a crisis," she once said. "I think the Lord gives you strength when you need it. God was using us — and now he's using me, too."

The King family, especially King and her father-in-law, Martin Luther King Sr., were highly visible in 1976 when former Georgia Gov. Jimmy Carter ran for president. When an integration dispute at Carter's Plains church created a furor, King campaigned at Carter's side the next day.

She later was named by Carter to serve as part of the U.S. delegation to the United Nations, where Young was the ambassador.

In 1997, she spoke out in favor of a push to grant a trial for James Earl Ray, who pleaded guilty to killing her husband and then recanted.

"Even if no new light is shed on the facts concerning my husband's assassination, at least we and the nation can have the satisfaction of knowing that justice has run its course in this tragedy," she told a judge.

The trial never took place; Ray died in 1998.

King was born April 27, 1927, in Perry County, Ala. Her father ran a country store. To help her family during the Depression, young Coretta picked cotton; later, she worked as a waitress to earn her way through Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio.

In 1994, King stepped down as head of the King Center, passing the job to son Dexter, who in turn passed the job on to her other son, Martin III, in 2004. Dexter continued to serve as the center's chief operating officer. Martin III also has served on the Fulton County (Ga.) commission and as president of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, co-founded by his father in 1957. Daughter Yolanda became an actress and the youngest child, Bernice, became a Baptist minister.

On the 25th anniversary of her husband's death, April 5, 1993, King said the war in Vietnam which her husband opposed "has been replaced by an undeclared war on our central cities, a war being fought by gangs with guns for drugs."

"The value of life in our cities has become as cheap as the price of a gun," she said.

King received numerous honors for herself and traveled around the world in the process.

In London, she stood in 1969 in the same carved pulpit in St. Paul's Cathedral where her husband preached five years earlier.

"Many despair at all the evil and unrest and disorder in the world today," she preached, "but I see a new social order and I see the dawn of a new day."

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Martin Luther King Jr, had a dream that the Mormon Church and their version of God, apparently did not share or believe in, as they continued banning black men and women from entering their temple, considered the Lords holy house, until 1978.

Even though it was men that were banned from having the Priesthood (since women can't have it), women were also banned from entering the temple without any explanation that I've been able to find. If it was all because of the Priesthood, and not having it, that doesn't explain the banning of women does it?

Blacks were unable to be sealed as an Eternal Family, which is the benchmark that the Mormon Church claims to be one of the central focuses of their beliefs and teachings. Why would God be racist? Why would he curse blacks due to Cain's transgression? After all, the Mormon's teach that we won't be punished for Adam's' transgression, but I guess that didn't include blacks being punished for Cain's. Yeah, that makes sense, doesn't it?

The Mormon Church has only offered this equality for 27 years? Can you believe that? 27 years wasn't that long ago. Were they that far behind the world? Absolutely and what an embarrassment. How could an omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent God be so far behind the times and not know what the right thing to do was? Well, if he was really God, he would be ahead of the curve, leading the way, not bringing up the rear and fighting the right thing to do.

Ask the Mormon Hierarchy (Hinckley) and they'll dismiss it as "little flecks of history" that are "now behind us." They blame it on God without taking one shred of responsibility for their racist views and big mistakes. They can't even apologize and say 3 simple words, "WE ARE SORRY." What does this say about the Mormon religion?

So far, as far as I can tell, there have been only two black General Authorities in 175 years. The first one, believed to be ordained and called by Joseph Smith, was Elijah Abel. After serving many missions, he got sick on his last mission from exposure and gave his life for the Mormon Church and died shorty after returning back home to Salt lake City, Utah in December 1884.

What I just recently learned, is that his Son and 2 Grandsons were also believed to be allowed to have the Priesthood. One other note, is that Brigham Young, the biggest racist/bigot that the Mormon Church has ever known, forbid Elijah Abel to receive his temple endowment due to his black skin. There also appears to be a few other exceptions to blacks receiving the Priesthood, but I have no proof of these claims. As far as I know, the temple ban always stood, until 1978.

In 1978, the Mormon Church finally gave blacks the Priesthood after basically pleading with God, I know, unbelievable that they would have to plead with a racist God to allow blacks to have his precious Priesthood. The reality was that they were baptizing people in Brazil and realizing that most of them had black blood in their heritage. (chapter 2) These people were donating money and helping to build a temple that they wouldn't be able to enter. The Mormon Church was facing a PR nightmare and that's where this revelation actually came from.

Anyway, 12 years later, they called Helvécio Martins to be a Seventy and to date, he is the only modern day black man, to my knowledge, to be called as a General Authority. He served his 5 years and was released. His Son was the first modern day black Mormon missionary and he was called to go on his mission, despite being like a month or less away from getting married.

The Church used him as the "token" black missionary and asked him to put his marriage on hold for two years, which unfortunately, he did. What a shame!! Can you imagine how hard that must have been on both him and his bride? As Hinckley says, "nothing is too good for the Lord", right?

While blacks can now go the temple, and have their Eternal Family, no ground has been made in calling them to high positions of leadership, especially to be a General Authority. All one has to do is look at the May 2005 or November 2005 Ensign, at the picture of General Authorities and you won't see one black man in the mix.

That just proves everything I'm saying. When Hinckley tells Larry King that he could possibly see a black man as Prophet one day, or that it's "in the realm of possibility", he is being disingenuous at the least and flat out lying at the worst.

Since Bednar is in his mid 50's and the youngest Apostle, we are probably at least 40-50 years away from anyone under Bednar being the prophet, let alone a black man, since their isn't even a black Seventy, let alone a black Apostle. The Mormon Church talks the talk, but they rarely, if ever, actually walk the walk. It is disgraceful.

There will never be a black Mormon Prophet and I highly doubt that we'll ever see a black Apostle. Maybe a Seventy, but that's even doubtful at this point. Amazing that not one worthy black man, exists on the earth, to be called as a Mormon General Authority, isn't it? Wake up people!! The racism that the Kings fought so hard against, still lives strong in the Mormon Church.

It's too bad that the Mormon Church of the past or the present, couldn't and can't see the same dream of equality that Martin Luther King and his wife, Coretta Scott King fought for their entire lives. Martin Luther King gave his life for his dream in the end.

So, while the King's and many others were fighting for equality, unity, togetherness and love, the Mormon Church was fighting against equality for both blacks and women, homosexuals and preaching doctrines of division, racism, bigotry and separation. What a contrast eh?

There can be no doubt that these were not the actions of any God or "men inspired of God." While the world fought for unity, change and equality, the Mormon Church stood their ground, as they fought and clung to their racist and bigoted views and still do, to this day, in my opinion, especially regarding anyone that is homosexual. That seems to be the Mormon Church's new, public battle. Coretta King had even mentioned that if her Husband were still alive today, he would have also fought for Gay rights, again, in complete contradiction to God's supposed "only true Church."

Is there really any doubt that Martin and Coretta King have done far more good, taught more love, acceptance, helped millions more people and many more generations and have a greater legacy and influence, just those two people alone, than the Mormon Church, collectively, has accomplished in the last 175 years. There is no doubt about it!! In fact, the Mormon Church has taught the opposite.

Now that's pretty embarrassing for a Church that claims to be the "one and only true Church of Jesus Christ on the planet earth", isn't it? I'm so proud to be a non-Mormon and to be able to disavow these racist, hate-filled teachings, that have caused so many people, so much pain. I can now apologize to the world for the awful racist and bigoted teachings of Mormonism, both past and present. Someone has to do it, since they never will.

May God bless Martin and Coretta King for all that they accomplished and for all of the people that they have helped, as they are reunited once again to share that love that they have both surely missed all these years after his tragic death that came way too soon. If anyone was a martyr for their cause, it was Martin Luther King Jr, not Joseph Smith. They don't even belong in the same sentence together.

May Martin and Coretta King rest in peace and rejoice in their reunion this night!!

Glen L. Pace's Memo On Ritualistic Child Abuse!! This Is A Real Shocker If You Haven't Seen It Before!! What Has The Mormon Church Done About it?!!

First I just want to say that I first found this and read this a couple of weeks ago and I was absolutely shocked and repulsed by what I read. I still feel that same way. For many of you, it may be old news, but for me, the recent Mormon apostate, it is new news. I felt that those of you out there that haven't read this, need to read this. People say that there is nothing sinister going on within the Mormon Church? Well, I guess that's not true, according to Glen L. Pace, who is still a member of the First Quorum of the Seventy. So, bitch at him, not me, since these are his words, not mine, you TBMS in denial.

This is a shocking memo that was written by Glen L. Pace, a member of the Presiding Bishopric at the time, now, just a Seventy. Through various reliable Church sources that I've read and researched, I believe that it is 100% authentic. I also trust the Tanners and know that they wouldn't have put it on their website, unless they had thoroughly checked it out and verified it, which they did. The silence of the Church and the fact that they didn't try to sue them over this one, like every other thing, further proves that it is 100% authentic. To read more about it, I highly recommend the following link.

Every time I think that I won't find anything else or any more skeletons in the Mormon Church's closet, something else like this pops up. Imagine the memos that exist internally within the Mormon Church that haven't been leaked. Hopefully someday, someone within the trusted ranks of the Mormon Hierarchy, will leak something else, to give us more of an insight to their lies, fraud and cover-up. A memo like this one, proves that they have many secrets or knowledge of things that they never discuss publicly, let alone with the Saints.

Again, I just wonder, what has the Mormon Church done, if anything, to deal with or address the stunning and startling discoveries of Glen L. Pace? It appears nothing!! All it did was get him demoted back to the First Quorum of the Seventy. Without this memo, he'd probably be an Apostle by now, without a doubt. Also, if he was nuts or crazy, wouldn't they have just released him or put him on Emeritus status? I do have to wonder if the leaking of this memo, was to protect Glen L. Pace and maybe he even leaked it himself, who knows?

I'm sure the Mormon Hierarchy, including Hinckley, wasn't too happy about something like this and that he was doing his own independent research by interviewing these people and revealing that higher ups (Bishops, Stake Presidents, temple workers, Patriarchs, leaders of Young men and young women, etc) were involved in ritualistic child abuse, Satanism and human sacrifice.

Also, that some of it was actually happening in the Church buildings, presumably by someone that has the keys to the Church and a high position of trust. Is this stuff still going on as we speak, like it was back then? Is it worse now and has it grown as he feared it would? I would appreciate any feedback from those of you out there in the know. I find this to be the most shocking, disgusting and revolting thing that I've come across in all of my research. I couldn't believe what I was reading. Do I know or have I ever known someone or had a friend that participated in these things? God I hope not!!

From:Bishop Glenn L. Pace
Subject: Ritualistic Child Abuse

Pursuant to the Committee's request, I am writing this memorandum to pass along what I have learned about ritualistic child abuse. Hopefully, it will be of some value to you as you continue to monitor the problem. You have already received the LDS Social Services report on satanism dated May 24, 1989, a report from Brent Ward, and a memorandum from myself dated October 20, 1989 in response to Brother Ward's report. Therefore, I will limit this writing to information not contained in those papers.

I have met with sixty victims. That number could be twice or three times as many if I did not discipline myself to only one meeting per week. I have not wanted my involvement with this issue to become a handicap in fulfilling my assigned responsibilities. On the other hand, I felt someone needed to pay the price to obtain an intellectual and spiritual conviction as to the seriousness of this problem within the Church.

Of the sixty victims with whom I have met, fifty-three are female and seven are male. Eight are children. The abuse occurred in the following places: Utah (37), Idaho (3), California (4), Mexico (2), and other places (14). Fifty-three victims are currently living in the State of Utah. All sixty individuals are members of the Church. Forty-five victims allege witnessing and/or participating in human sacrifice. The majority were abused by relatives, often their parents. All have developed psychological problems and most have been diagnosed as having multiple personality disorder or some other form of dissociative disorder.

Ritualistic child abuse is the most hideous of all child abuse. The basic objective is premeditated--to systematically and methodically torture and terrorize children until they are forced to dissociate. The torture is not a consequence of the loss of temper, but the execution of well-planned, well-thought out rituals often performed by close relatives. The only escape for the children is to dissociate. They will develop a new personality to enable them to endure various forms of abuse. When the episode is over, the core personality is again in control and the individual is not conscious of what happened. Dissociation also serves the purposes of the occult because the children have no day-to-day memory of the atrocities. They go through adolescence and early adulthood with no active memory of what is taking place. Oftentimes they continue in rituals through their teens and early twenties, unaware of their involvement. Many individuals with whom I have spoken have served missions and it has not been until later that they begin to remember. One individual has memories of participating in rituals while serving as a full-time missionary.

The victims lead relatively normal lives, but the memories are locked up in a compartment in their minds and surface in various ways. They don't know how to cope with the emotions because they can't find the source. As they become adults and move into another environment, something triggers the memories and, consequently, flashbacks and/or nightmares occur. One day they will have been living a normal life and the next they will be in a mental hospital in a fetal position. The memories of their early childhood are recalled in so much detail that they once again feel the pain that caused the dissociation in the first place.

There are two reasons why adults can remember with such detail events that happened in their past: First, the terror they experienced was so stark that it was indelibly placed in their mind. Second, the memory was compartmentalized in a certain portion of the mind and was not subjected to the dilution of experiences of ensuing years. When it is tapped, it is as fresh as if it happened yesterday.

The memories seem to come in layers. For example, the first memory might be of incest; then they remember robes and candles; next they realize that their father or mother or both were present when they were being abused. Another layer will be the memory of seeing other people hurt and even killed. Then they remember having seen babies killed. Another layer is realizing that they participated in the sacrifices. One of the most painful memories may be that they even sacrificed their own baby. With each layer of memory comes another set of problems with which they must deal.

Some have said that the witnesses to this type of treatment cannot be trusted because of the victim's unstable condition and because practically all of them have some kind of dissociative disorder; in fact, the stories are so bizarre as to raise serious credibility questions. The irony is that one of the objectives of the occult is to create multiple personalities within the children in order to keep the "secrets." They live in society without society having any idea that something is wrong since the children and teenagers don't even realize there is another life occurring in darkness and in secret. However, when sixty witnesses testify to the same type of torture and murder, it becomes impossible for me, personally, not to believe them.

I mention multiple personalities because the spiritual healing which must take place in the lives of these victims cannot happen without their priesthood leaders understanding something about it.

The spiritual indoctrination which takes place during the physical abuse is one of the most difficult to overcome. In addition to experiencing stark terror and pain, the children are also instructed in satanic doctrine. Everything is completely reversed: white is black, black is white, good is bad, bad is good, Satan is going to rule during the Millennium.

Children are put in a situation where they believe they are going to die--such as being buried alive or being placed in a plastic bag and immersed in water. Prior to doing so, the abuser tells the child to pray to Jesus to see if He will save her. Imagine a seven year old girl, having been told she is going to die, praying to Jesus to save her and nothing happens--then at the last moment she is rescued, but the person saving her is a representative of Satan. He uses this experience to convince her that the only person who really cares about her is Satan, she is Satan's child and she might as well become loyal to him.

Just before or shortly after their baptism into the Church, children are baptized by blood into the satanic order which is meant to cancel out their baptism into the Church. They will be asked if they understand or have ever felt the Holy Ghost. When they reply that they have, they will be reminded of the horrible things they have participated in and will be told that they have become a son (or daughter) of perdition and, therefore, have no chance of being saved or loved by our Father in heaven or Jesus.

All of this indoctrination takes place with whichever personality has emerged to endure the physical, mental, and spiritual pain. Consequently, there develops within each of these individuals the makings of what I call a civil war. As the memories begin to surface, there are personalities who feel they have given themselves to Satan, and there is no hope for forgiveness. The core person is an active member of the Church, often with a temple recommend. As integration takes place, the civil war begins. Sometimes, in an interview, personalities of the dark side have come out. They are petrified or perhaps full of hate for me and what I represent. Eventually those personalities need to be dealt with spiritually and psychologically.

Most victims are suicidal. They have been brainwashed with drugs, hypnosis, and other means to become suicidal as soon as they start to tell the secrets. They have been threatened all of their lives that if they don't do what they are told their brother or sister will die, their parents will die, their house will be burned, or they themselves will be killed. They have every reason to believe it since they have seen people killed. They believe they might as well kill themselves instead of wait for the occult to do it. Some personalities feel it is the right thing to do.

The purpose of this detail is to stress the complexity of psychological and spiritual therapy for these individuals. Our priesthood leaders, when faced with such cases, are understandably at a loss of how to respond. Orthodox counsel is completely ineffective. For example, some victims have been told that this all happened in their past and that they should put it behind them and get on with their lives. This is just not possible. Part of the spiritual therapy necessary is for priesthood leaders to assist with the conversion process of the personalities who have been indoctrinated into satanism. Victims must integrate their personalities so that they can function as whole persons and be able to deal with their problems and then get on with their lives. Often, some of the parts will begin to act out--perhaps promiscuously--and a good intentioned priesthood leader, following the General Handbook of Instructions, will disfellowship or excommunicate an individual. All this does is reinforce the satanic indoctrination of the victims that they are no good.

I'm sorry to say that many of the victims have had their first flashbacks while attending the temple for the first time. The occult along the Wasatch Front uses the doctrine of the Church to their advantage. For example, the verbiage and gestures are used in a ritualistic ceremony in a very debased and often bloody manner. When the victim goes to the temple and hears the exact words, horrible memories are triggered. We have recently been disturbed with members of the Church who have talked about the temple ceremony. Compared to what is happening in the occult along the Wasatch Front, these are very minor infractions. The perpetrators are also living a dual life. Many are temple recommend holders. This leads to another reason why the Church needs to consider the seriousness of these problems. In affect, the Church is being used.

I go out of my way to not let the victims give me the names of the perpetrators. I have told them that my responsibility is to help them with spiritual healing and that the names of perpetrators should be given to therapists and law enforcement officers. However, they have told me the positions in the Church of members who are perpetrators. Among others, there are Young Women leaders, Young Men leaders, bishops, a patriarch, a stake president, temple workers, and members of the Tabernacle Choir. These accusations are not coming from individuals who think they recognized someone, but from those who have been abused by people they know, in many cases their own family members.

Whatever the form of abuse our main concern is for the victims, but there are legal ramifications. We are disturbed to receive reports that a scoutmaster has abused the boys in his troop. It is not difficult to imagine what would happen if we learn that a bishop or stake president has participated in the abominations of ritualistic child abuse. Not only do some of the perpetrators represent a cross section of the Mormon culture, but sometimes the abuse has taken place in our own meetinghouses.

I don't pretend to know how prevalent the problem is. All I know is that I have met with 60 victims. Assuming each one comes from a coven of 13, we are talking about the involvement of 800 or so right here on the Wasatch Front. Obviously, I have only seen those coming forth to get help. They are in their twenties and thirties for the most part. I can only assume that it is expanding geometrically and am horrified the numbers represented by the generation who are now children and teenagers.

Another reason for concern is that there are several doctrinal issues that need to be resolved. The Church and society in general are very skeptical as to whether the occult and its activities do exist. There is no First Presidency statement relative to some of the doctrinal issues: What does a priesthood leader tell individuals who come forward and say that they have participated in these rituals--which may include human sacrifice? Should they have a temple recommend? Will they ever be forgiven? There are questions regarding free agency and accountability. Is a person who has been raised in an occult from infancy accountable for things that take place in a dissociated state, even though those acts were committed after the age of eight? I have formed my own opinions to these questions and have done the best I can. However, I don't have the mantle to make these doctrinal and policy decisions. I have relied on the mantle of a bishop regarding discernment and being a common judge.

The few priesthood leaders who have had to face these issues are crying out for help because they don't want to give their own opinions and yet there is no place to go for an answer. A bishop will go to his stake president who says he doesn't believe it is happening and that the member is just crazy. The stake president might go to an Area Presidency who will react in a similar way. Most people are afraid to surface it to the First Presidency for fear of getting the same reaction and don't want to appear crazy themselves for asking the question.

I hope you will excuse me if I am being presumptuous, but I am concluding this paper with scriptures I feel support my belief that these activities are real and cannot be ignored.

The things I have been writing about go back to Cain and Abel:

And Satan said unto Cain: Swear unto me by thy throat, and if thou tell it thou shalt die; and swear thy brethren by their heads, and by the living God, that they tell it not; for if they tell it, they shall surely die; and this that thy father may not know it; and this day I will deliver thy brother Abel into thine hands.

And Satan sware unto Cain that he would do according to his commands. And all these things were done in secret.

And Cain said: Truly I am Mahan, the master of this great secret, that I may murder and get gain. Wherefore Cain was called Master Mahan, and he gloried in his wickedness. (Moses 5:29-31.)

All of the experiences I have heard about have to do with secrecy, swearing not to tell, murdering to get gain and power:

Wherefore Lamech, being angry, slew him, not like unto Cain, his brother Abel, for the sake of getting gain, but he slew him for the oath's sake.

For, from the days of Cain, there was a secret combination, and their works were in the dark, and they knew every man his brother. (Moses 5:50-51.)

And then in Moses 6:15 we learn that as people began to fill the earth, so did these secret works:

And the children of men were numerous upon all the face of the land. And in those days Satan had great dominion among men, and raged in their hearts; and from thenceforth came wars and bloodshed; and a man's hand was against his own brother, in administering death, because of secret works, seeking for power.

The Book of Mormon is replete with descriptions of these secret murderous combinations as well as prophecies that they will always be with us:

And our spirits must have become like unto him, and we become devils, angels to a devil, to be shut out from the presence of our God, and to remain with the father of lies, in misery, like unto himself; yea, to that being who beguiled out first parents, who transformeth himself nigh unto an angel of light, and stirreth up the children of men unto secret combinations of murder and all manner of secret works of darkness. (2 Nephi 9:9.)

Wherefore, for this cause, that my covenants may be fulfilled which I have made unto the children of men, that I will do unto them while they are in the flesh, I must needs destroy the secret works of darkness, and of murders, and of abominations. (2 Nephi 10:15.)

And there are also secret combinations, even as in times of old, according to the combinations of the devil, for he is the founder of all these things; yea, the founder of murder, and works of darkness; yea, and he leadeth them by the neck with a flaxen cord, until he bindeth them with his strong cords forever. (2 Nephi 26:22.)

In Alma, we find that the Lord commanded some of the prophets not to write any of the secret works, especially of the secret oaths, so that they would not become known by generations to follow, but that they might be warned that they do exist:

And now, I will speak unto you concerning those twenty-four plates, that ye keep them, that the mysteries and the works of darkness, and their secret works, or the secret works of those people who have been destroyed, may be made manifest unto this people; yea, all their murders, and robbings, and their plunderings, and all their wickedness and abominations, may be made manifest unto this people; yea, and that ye preserve these interpreters. . . .

I will bring forth out of darkness unto light all their secret works and their abominations; and except they repent I will destroy them from off the face of the earth; and I will bring to light all their secrets and abominations, unto every nation that shall hereafter possess the land.

And now, my son, we see that they did not repent; therefore they have been destroyed, and thus far the word of God has been fulfilled; yea, their secret abominations have been brought out of darkness and made known unto us.

And now, my son, I command you that ye retain all their oaths,, and their covenants, and their agreements in their secret abominations; yea, and all their signs and their wonders ye shall keep from this people, that they know them not, lest peradventure they should fall into darkness also and be destroyed.

For behold, there is a curse upon all this land, that destruction shall come upon all those workers of darkness, according to the power of God, when they are fully ripe; therefore I desire that this people might be destroyed. (Alma 37:21, 25-28.)

In Helaman, the name of Gadianton is introduced and becomes descriptive throughout the Book of Mormon relative to the secret combinations.

But behold, Kishkumen, who had murdered Pahoran, did lay wait to destroy Helaman also; and he was upheld by his band, who had entered into a covenant that no one should know his wickedness.

For there was one Gadianton, who was exceedingly expert in many words, and also in his craft, to carry on the secret work of murder and of robbery; therefore he became the leader of the band of Kishkumen. . . .

And when the servant of Helaman had known all the heart of Kishkumen, and how that it was his object to murder, and also that it was the object of all those who belonged to his band to murder, and to rob, and to gain power, (and this was their secret plan, and their combination) the servant of Helaman said unto Kishkumen: Let us go forth unto the judgment-seat. (Helaman 2:3-4, 8.)

It was true then as it is now that these things were not known by the general populace or by the government:

And it came to pass in the forty and ninth year of the reign of the judges, there was continual peace established in the land, all save it were the secret combinations which Gadianton the robber had established in the more settled parts of the land, which at that time were not known unto those who were at the head of government; therefore they were not destroyed out of the land. (Helaman 3:23.)

In chapter 6, we learn that in spite of the Lord's command to the prophets not to write these things, Satan is capable, and always has been, of revealing his secrets to his followers just as the Lord has revealed His will to the prophets.

And now behold, those murderers and plunderers were a band who had been formed by Kishkumen and Gadianton. And now it had come to pass that there were many, even among the Nephites, of Gadianton's band. But behold, they were more numerous among the more wicked part of the Lamanites. And they were called Gadianton's robbers and murderers.

But behold, Satan did stir up the hearts of the more part of the Nephites, insomuch that they did unite with those bands of robbers, and did enter into their covenants and their oaths, that they would protect and preserve one another in whatsoever difficult circumstances they should be placed, that they should not suffer for their murders, and their plunderings, and their stealings.

And it came to pass that they did have their signs, yea, their secret signs, and their secret words; and this that they might distinguish a brother who had entered into the covenant, that whatsoever wickedness his brother should do he should not be injured by his brother, nor by those who did belong to his band, who had taken this covenant.

And thus they might murder and plunder, and steal, and commit whoredoms and all manner of wickedness, contrary to the laws of their country and also the laws of their God.

And whosoever of those who belonged to their band should reveal unto the world of their wickedness and their abominations, should be tried, not according to the laws of their country, but according to the laws of their wickedness, which had been given by Gadianton and Kishkumen.

Now behold, it is these secret oaths and covenants which Alma commanded his son should not go forth unto the world, lest they should be a means of bringing down the people unto destruction.

Now behold, those secret oaths and covenants did not come forth unto Gadianton from the records which were delivered unto Helaman; but behold, they were put into the heart of Gadianton by that same being who did entice our first parents to partake of the forbidden fruit. . . .

Yea, it is that same being who put it into the heart of Gadianton to still carry on the work of darkness, and of secret murder; and he has brought it forth from the beginning of man even down to this time.

And behold, it is he who is the author of all sin. And behold, he doth carry on his works of darkness and secret murder, and doth hand down their plots, and their oaths, and their covenants, and their plans of awful wickedness, from generation to generation according as he can get hold upon the hearts of the children of men. (Helaman 6:18, 21-26, 29-30.)

In light of this scripture, it is naive for us to think these things would not exist in our own generation. We know this is the last dispensation, the dispensation of the fulness of times. Surely Satan would not "pass" on this most important dispensation.

In Helaman 8:1 we learn that people in high places were members of the Gadianton band and secret combinations:

And now it came to pass that when Nephi had said these words, behold, there were men who were judges, who also belonged to the secret band of Gadianton, and they were angry, and they cried out against him, saying unto the people: Why do ye not seize upon this man and bring him forth, that he may be condemned according to the crime which he has done?

We have allegations to indicate that this is true of people in high places today in both the Church and the government who are leading this dual life. The secret combinations were mentioned all through the Book of Mormon. In Mormon 1:18-19 we read that these Gadianton robbers were still alive and well and functioning:

And these Gadianton robbers, who were among the Lamanites, did infest the land, insomuch that the inhabitants thereof began to hide up their treasures in the earth; and they became slippery, because the Lord had cursed the land, that they could not hold them, nor retain them again.

And it came to pass that there were sorceries, and witchcrafts, and magics; and the power of the evil one was wrought upon all the face of the land, even unto the fulfilling of all the words of Abinadi, and also Samuel the Lamanite.

In Mormon 8:27 there is a prophecy that secret combinations will be among us in our time:

And it shall come in a day when the blood of saints shall cry unto the Lord, because of secret combinations and the works of darkness.

The extent of the evil that mankind will perpetrate on another is told in Moroni 9:10:

And after they had done this thing, they did murder them in a most cruel manner, torturing their bodies even unto death; and after they have done this, they devour their flesh like unto wild beasts, because of the hardness of their hearts; and they do it for a token of bravery.

Many of us have read this all of our lives and click our tongues at how awful it would be to live in such a time. Those victims with whom I have spoken testify to these things going on all around us today. In Ether we are told that they will exist amongst us, the gentiles, and we are also warned that we should do something about it:

And now I, Moroni, do not write the manner of their oaths and combinations, for it hath been made known unto me that they are had among all people, and they are had among the Lamanites.

And they have caused the destruction of this people of whom I am now speaking, and also the destruction of the people of Nephi.

And whatsoever nation shall uphold such secret combinations, to get power and gain, until they shall spread over the nation, behold, they shall be destroyed; for the Lord will not suffer that the blood of his saints, which shall be shed by them, shall always cry unto him from the ground for vengeance upon them and yet he avenge them not.

Wherefore, O ye Gentiles, it is wisdom in God that these things should be shown unto you, that thereby ye may repent of your sins, and suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you, which are built up to get power and gain--and the work, yea, even the work of destruction come upon you, yea, even the sword of the justice of the Eternal God shall fall upon you, to your overthrow and destruction if ye shall suffer these things to be.

Wherefore, the Lord commandeth you, when ye shall see these things come among you that ye shall awake to a sense of your awful situation, because of this secret combination which shall be among you; or wo be unto it, because of the blood of them who have been slain; for they cry from the dust for vengeance upon it, and also upon those who built it up. (Ether 8:20-24.)

In summary, we live in the last dispensation of the fulness of times and Satan is here with his secret combinations in all of the ugliness that existed in previous dispensations. The scriptures prophesy to that reality. I also believe that the scriptures cited and many others that could be quoted argue against our being passive about the problem. I don't want to be known as an alarmist or a fanatic on the issue. Now that I have put what I have learned in writing to you, I feel the issue is in the right court. I hope to take a low profile on the subject and get on with the duties which I have been formally assigned. This is not to say I would not be willing to be of service. Over the last eighteen months I have acquired a compassionate love and respect for the victims who are fighting for the safety of their physical lives and, more importantly, their souls.

One thing that really hit home with me, during the scripture part, was the realization of how much the Book of Mormon and Joseph's "book of Moses", discusses the devil, evil works, darkness, oaths, secret combinations, etc, etc. It's all over the Book of Mormon!! It makes one wonder how involved Joseph must have really been in these things.

We know that he was deeply involved in the occult, which included treasure hunting, seer stones, divining rods, and so forth. He had the experience of Satan attacking him in the woods, almost choking him he says, before he claims to have seen Jesus and God the Father. He saw Satan on the water, thus saying that Satan had control over the waters and the reason missionaries can't swim on their missions.

Just how much of the Mormon doctrine and superstition, is founded in the teaching of the occult? I'm sure that it goes much deeper than we can even imagine and hopefully, one day, these things will come to light.

Are these groups that are doing this, descendants of the early founders of the Church? Are they just carrying on the tradition of darkness that was begun by Joseph Smith and his followers? Again, one can't help but wonder these things after reading a memo like this. I don't have the answers but I'd sure like to know and hopefully one day, we will.

To close this post, I want to re-visit Joseph Smith's First Vision, where he describes in detail, how Satan attacked him. This is the version that is currently part of Mormon Scripture in the Joseph Smith History, from the Pearl of Great Price.

15 After I had retired to the place where I had previously designed to go, having looked around me, and finding myself alone, I kneeled down and began to offer up the desires of my heart to God. I had scarcely done so, when immediately I was seized upon by some power which entirely overcame me, and had such an astonishing influence over me as to bind my tongue so that I could not speak. Thick darkness gathered around me, and it seemed to me for a time as if I were doomed to sudden destruction.

16 But, exerting all my powers to call upon God to deliver me out of the power of this enemy which had seized upon me, and at the very moment when I was ready to sink into despair and abandon myself to destruction—not to an imaginary ruin, but to the power of some actual being from the unseen world, who had such marvelous power as I had never before felt in any being—just at this moment of great alarm, I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head, above the brightness of the sun, which descended gradually until it fell upon me.

17 It no sooner appeared than I found myself delivered from the enemy which held me bound. When the light rested upon me I saw two Personages, whose brightness and glory defy all description, standing above me in the air. One of them spake unto me, calling me by name and said, pointing to the other—This is My Beloved Son. Hear Him!

18 My object in going to inquire of the Lord was to know which of all the sects was right, that I might know which to join. No sooner, therefore, did I get possession of myself, so as to be able to speak, than I asked the Personages who stood above me in the light, which of all the sects was right (for at this time it had never entered into my heart that all were wrong)—and which I should join.

19 I was answered that I must join none of them, for they were all wrong; and the Personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in his sight; that those professors were all corrupt; that: “they draw near to me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, they teach for doctrines the commandments of men, having a form of godliness, but they deny the power thereof.”

20 He again forbade me to join with any of them; and many other things did he say unto me, which I cannot write at this time. When I came to myself again, I found myself lying on my back, looking up into heaven. When the light had departed, I had no strength; but soon recovering in some degree, I went home. And as I leaned up to the fireplace, mother inquired what the matter was. I replied, “Never mind, all is well—I am well enough off.” I then said to my mother, “I have learned for myself that Presbyterianism is not true.” It seems as though the adversary was aware, at a very early period of my life, that I was destined to prove a disturber and an annoyer of his kingdom; else why should the powers of darkness combine against me? Why the opposition and persecution that arose against me, almost in my infancy?

When you read the above memo from Glen L. Pace and then the first vision, it's pretty interesting, isn't it? Then you go to the Joseph Smith website and you won't find one single word about his experience with Satan, NOTHING!! It's as if he walked into the woods, knelt down to pray and there was God the Father and Jesus Christ in that pillar of light. Why is that? Why would the Mormon Church hide such an important fact, on a website, that is meant to recruit and educate non-members about the life and person of Joseph Smith?

But, it is good to see that Joseph Smith considered the power of Satan, to be a "MARVELOUS POWER" that he "HAD NEVER FELT IN ANY BEING!!"

A Man Named Ghoulslime, Set Out To Settle His Score With The Mormon Church, By Spitting On the Salt Lake Temple!! Mission Accomplished!!

{I sat next to the fire and enjoyed rosemary chicken, chestnut stuffing, creamed potatoes, asparagus, and a goblet of excellent Chardonnay. I was the only guest in the restaurant. I studied the fire, and listen to Pavarotti. It was a perfect meal.}

Well, I just wanted to do a post on a guy who calls himself Ghoulslime. If any of you are easily offended, then DO NOT, click on the links in the paragraph just below this one. Consider yourselves warned!! I had seen a post on this guy the other day and then one of my avid readers/listeners, Bonnie, brought him back to my attention. Thanks Bonnie!!

He set out on a journey to "SPIT" on the Salt Lake Temple and had some fun along the way, at the Boise, Idaho temple and the Logan temple as well. He accomplished his goal. He also dropped by his home town of Preston, Idaho, to see his Parents. He had a funny experience in the Mormon Church while there. It's worth reading...LOL!!

Now, I would never do this myself, as it's just not my nature and I in no way recommend doing this to anybody else or condone his views on 99% of what he says on his blog regarding other issues. But I do have to admit, this part, regarding spitting on the temples, was pretty funny, in a twisted sort of way. I don't know how else to explain it.

To follow his journey and see the pictures with his comments and his irreverence, at least regarding this issue, was pretty damn funny to me. It appears that he may be a complete atheist at this point and to each their own. However, when it comes to his views regarding the Mormon Church, I'd have to say that he's pretty much right on the money. Everybody has the right to believe whatever they want, especially when your spiritual rug of Mormonism, is pulled out from under you in such a cruel and brutal way, after a lifetime of believing and trusting them.

Who am I to judge people that discover that they have been lied to, deceived and defrauded by the Mormon Church for their entire life, over 30 years? Everybody has their way of responding, showing their anger, expressing themselves, healing and reacting, and he has chosen his path, just like I've chosen mine. If this was what he needed to heal or feel some closure, then great!! Everybody has a different way of responding to such a horrible, life-changing discovery and maybe that is why I felt the need to share this with all of you.

I know that I risk offending some of my loyal readers and listeners, but that isn't my intention. I simply wanted to show this man's way of dealing with his anger, a completely different way of responding, along with his sense of humor to go with it. It also shows just how heavy the impact of the discovery of the fraud of Mormonism can have on a person. We are truly victims of a mind-controlling cult and I'm just glad that somehow, someway, I found my way out of it along with so many others and many of you that are reading this right now.

I wasn't even going to post this on my blog, and I was tossing it around for days, until I read a great post that he wrote the other day, regarding why he feels the way he does about the Mormon Church. That post clarified why he felt the need to do what he was doing. I can't say that I disagreed with anything he said in that post and felt that I should share it here with Mormon Truth readers. I hope that he doesn't mind me doing so, but I'm pretty sure that he won't. He showed his serious side and shared his pain as he clearly explained why he feels the way he does and I share much empathy with him as I do many of you out there.

I have to say that after reading what he wrote and reflecting again, on my personal knowledge of the evilness of the Mormon Church and their awful, bigoted and racist teachings, spitting on the Salt Lake Temple or any temple for that matter, seems pretty minor, when compared to the big picture of what the Mormon Church does everyday to destroy and separate Families and individuals. The fear and intolerance that they instill in their little "Village cult" is unforgivable and horrible.

In fact, they probably deserve that show of disrespect, which is pretty minor, when you consider and compare it to the unrepentant nature and lack of any compassion or love toward their members, as they destroy them individually and collectively.

The Mormon Hierarchy doesn't feel one shred of remorse for anything they do or have done and they will NEVER, EVER apologize for their actions. So, with that being said, spitting on their temples, is nothing. Anyway, I'll let you guys read it and form your own opinions, but I think it's pretty damn funny. This guy is a character, that's for sure. I'm glad that he found a way to feel better and cope with his individual pain.

The Mormon Church can take a normal, kind, loving, happy person, twist them up and lie to them and deceive them for 30 years. Then, they spit them out when they start asking questions and wonder why they are so damn mad, as they excommunicate them, in love and the name of God of course. What it's really all about for most of us, is justice and closure.

People want justice since the Mormon Church will never say they are sorry for what they have done. The fact that they will never admit to their lies, deceit and fraud, precludes for most of us, that closure that we would like to have, so, in turn, we have to fight them and take them on publicly. Then they stand in General Conference and point their fingers at us, "saying, see, they just can't leave us alone" and "that it's proof that the Mormon Church is true."

Those of us that discover the truth, pay a very high price, both emotionally and mentally plus the loss of best friends and Family members. The cost is incalculable and certainly not appreciated or understood by anyone that is still in the cult and a true believer.

Anyway, here is the great post that he wrote, describing perfectly, why he feels the way he feels and what the Church does to make people so damn angry and offended:

I received an email from a friend who doesn’t understand why I would exhibit such loathing towards the Mormon Church, or any other organization, as to seek out its place of worship to defile it. He states, “I’ve always known you to be a very kind and optimistic person without hatred for anything. Your jokes are sometimes blunt and brutal but the gentle look in your eye communicates such a good nature that it is difficult to imagine that you could be capable of harboring hatred in your heart.”

While I appreciate the high regard which this sweet friend affords me, I must say that I am as capable as anyone of hatred if given sufficient cause. How can I explain this feeling of hurt and anger to someone who has never been the victim of a religious cult? Let me try.

If someone were peddling heroin to your children, would you try to prevent it? If your brother were drunk and trying to get in his car, would you not take his keys away from him? If someone were taking your grandmother’s pension in a scam by selling a ticket to eternal Unicorn Rainbow Land, would you not intervene? Then how could I ever be expected to stand idly by as Mormonism consumes so many lives, including some of my family?

The cruelest lie perpetrated by Mormonism is the catch phrase used so often by this nefarious organization, “Families Are Forever”. To the Mormon Church, the family unit is a tool of organization and control. It is at the family level that the fundamental brainwashing is implemented. This evil religion makes the family member choose between accepting the tenets of the religion and losing a place in the member’s family. Many of those who find the courage to escape from the tenacious grasp of this vile organization are scarred for life. For many of those who have grown up in a religious cult, the most difficult part about leaving is seeing one’s friends and family still trapped in it.

In regions of the United States where Mormonism prevails, guilt and anxiety fill the minds of so many whose only sin was to be gullible. Hardworking people slave under the yoke of this criminal organization to pay ten percent of their income, and one hundred percent of their time to fill the coffers of these snake oil peddlers. Minds are filled with illogical, dogmatic rubbish. Mental institutions are filled with the victims of Joseph Smith’s scam. How can such a malevolent establishment continue unabated, while innocent people suffer?

Fortunately, with the advent of the Internet and the freedom of information that it has brought, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints can no longer control the propaganda that its members are privy to. With a few minutes spent on a search engine, a curious member can discover much that was once carefully controlled by the propaganda ministers of the LDS church. The true origin of Joseph Smith’s cult is carefully documented for all to see and become enlightened by.

Notwithstanding the immense resources and furious effort this church is expending in sending missionaries to all corners of the world to spread their dogma, the growth of the LDS church has halted. This is in a time when the world population is growing exponentially. In fact, if the inactive members of the LDS church were to be removed from the rolls of the church, there would actually be a decline in the membership of the LDS church. The LDS church still has lots of money, but the hocus pocus nonsense it is preaching simply isn’t selling very well anymore.

If the LDS church shut its doors tomorrow, I would be happy, but I would not be healed. As a child, I was brainwashed and coerced into accepting their lies. My tiny mind was twisted and distorted with fairy tales. Those whom I should have been able to trust attempted to cripple my reason and logic with contradictions and absurdities. I was forced to accept my “freedom of choice” to adhere to the tenets of this ridiculous religion. The penalty for not accepting everything unquestioningly was a loss of family, friends, peers, ostracism from the community, and punishment in a fiery hell.

I proved stronger than the opiate lie of Mormonism. I escaped from the clutch of Mormonism. I found truth. But I had to lose my family to do it. I owe the Mormon Church a spit on their temple at least.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, there you have it, the adventures of Ghoulslime!! I hope that was entertaining and amusing for some of you, as it was for me, but also powerful, in what he wrote, explaining why he felt the way he does. I thought that he articulated his feelings very well and I appreciate him sharing them with all of us out here in the cyberworld.

Hopefully no one was too offended, but hey, let the guy do his thing while working through his justified anger. Everybody has different levels and degrees of anger. Just remember that the Mormon Church spits on all of it's members every time they lie and cover-up their true history, while robing them of their money and dignity, while destroying family relationships and they do it all in the name of God, with a smile on their face and a twinkle in their eyes. So, what's a little spit back at them, right?

As he so powerfully points out in his closing, "I escaped from the clutch of Mormonism. I found truth. But I had to lose my family to do it. I owe the Mormon Church a spit on their temple at least."

I hear you Ghoulslime and I understand your pain as do many that are reading your words. Best wishes to everyone, in your individual journeys out of Mormonism, and may you too, also find the best way to cope and deal with your losses and anger, that were caused by the Mormon cult and fraud.

Gordon B. Hinckley, Mormon Prophet, Is Hospitalized With Cancer In His Big Intestine. It Has Been Removed And They Say That He Should Fully Recover!!

Well, at least here in Utah, they have been giving news-breaks on Hinckley being in the hospital since about 4:30-5:00. At first, I was watching Mormon owned and run, KSL, and they kept stating that he was in an undisclosed hospital for an undisclosed procedure. This went on for quite a while and then they finally came clean and told everyone why he was in the hospital.

Again, in my opinion, they were withholding information, like they always do, when they knew from the beginning why he was in the hospital. I want to thank one of my readers/listeners Scott for pointing out to me that
Forbes online was running an article on him. As Scott pointed out, "Why would Forbes do a story on Gordo if the Morg was not a multi-billion Corporation??? I find this very telling!"

All I can say, is ditto to what Scott said!!

Here was the story from KSL:

President Hinckley Hospitalized
January 24th, 2006 @ 7:44pm

(KSL News) -- The president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is in the hospital. Church spokespersons say he's in the hospital for a routine medical procedure.(That was just another lie!! I hardly call having part of your large intestine removed due to cancer, a "routine medical procedure." Why can't they just tell the truth?!! Is it really that hard?!! They don't want the Saints to panic.)

The LDS Church released the following statement:

"Following a routine medical screening, President Gordon B. Hinckley was found to have cancerous growth in his large intestine. The diseased portion of the intestine was successfully removed through a laparoscopic procedure.

"It is anticipated that President Hinckley will recover rapidly and resume his normal duties as President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."

President Hinckley has been the leader of the LDS church since 1995.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Anyway, they just did a special report and informed us that the cancerous part of his big intestine was successfully removed and that he should fully recuperate quickly and resume his hectic schedule and his trip to Chile, very soon!! That's great!!

Here is another link to Channel 2, here in Utah, with an article, that even mentions what the Church originally said, compared to why he was really in the hospital. I'm glad to see them pointing this out too. This page even has a video link for those that want to watch the actual breaking news report.

Here is the Mormon Church's official press release from their website. Amazing how quick they are to update their website regarding Gordon B. Hinckley, when they haven't even taken the time to post anything official about Benjamin Ellsworth, the missionary that was killed by a train, in Argentina, back on December 5th, 2005. No official mention of Joel Galindo Flores, who was killed in Mexico 11/9/2005 when he was hit by car.

No "official announcement" regarding the 2 Elders that just died in New Zealand either. Ballard's speech doesn't count, I'm talking, "official announcements." At least they were mentioned though, that is a real break through. Of course, they were mentioned in the speech were Ballard said, "This work will continue to go forward regardless of what happens, regardless of what the future may hold. If there are other missionaries that are hurt or other missionaries that are killed, it will not stop this work." Very compassionate and great timing, wouldn't you say?

I just felt the need to point out once again, how it's all about them and that they don't give a damn about their missionaries. Again, I guess it must be that when a missionary makes a mistake, that causes his own death and it's "his fault", in the Church's opinion, the Church doesn't even bother mentioning them. It's like it never even happened, especially if they are a foreign missionary.

However, if it's a tragic, "headline grabbing" story, then they have to say something, like in the death of Morgan W. Young of Bountiful. Hell, they(Hinckley and Ballard) even went to his funeral, because they knew that all the cameras would be there and it would be a great scene, and opportunity, to pump up the missionary work and reassure everyone that it was safe and WONDERFUL!! Like Ballard says, "there is no safer place in the world for 19-21 year old men or 21 year old women to be", right?

Hinckley pulling up in his Lexus, a $60,000 + car, with a driver(I'm glad for that, thank the Mormon God above), was priceless!! At least he is just a humble servant of the Lord, meek, mild, doesn't seek after the riches of the world, right? It would be so awesome to see him pull up in like a 1970 Ford LTD, clunker, all rusted out, back firing, barely running, Taco Bell wrappers all over the dash, fuzzy dice....Ha Ha......LOL!! Now that would be the shit, wouldn't it?!!

Anyway, back to Hinckley's current medical condition; it's not like the Church would tell their members if he was in more serious condition than they say he is in, so the reality is, who the hell knows what condition he's in? The experts(non-Church) say he should be in the hospital 2-3 days and be able to resume his normal duties in 2-3 weeks.

Just a side note, both President Hinckley's brother and Mother, died of cancer. So again, like I said above, how routine is it for a 95 year old man, with a history of cancer in his family, to go under anesthesia and the knife and have a cancerous part of his large intestine removed? That doesn't sound routine to me at all!! The Mormon spin machine operates 24/7/365 and this instance is no exception.

I find it amazing!! Good luck ever knowing the "real truth", but that's why I'm here, to wade through the BS and clear it all up for you guys. It's a dirty, stinky job, but someones got to do it. I appreciate all of your help and Emails too, when there is breaking news or something interesting going on.

I guess we'll see how it all pans out and if they are now being honest about his current condition. I guess time will tell, won't it? Do they honestly not think that people will be able to detect their lies and dishonesty? I guess if you are TBM, you wouldn't care, because it was all organized by Jesus Christ himself, right?

In fact, he came down to the Salt Lake City Temple, to the holy of holies and wrote out the official press release, and then faxed it out to the press. Isn't that how it works? It's his Church and he runs it, so yeah, that must be how it happened!!

One other quick note; I wonder what Thomas S Monson and Boyd K. Packer are thinking? They are one and two, next in line, just in case some of you didn't know that. God help us all, if the abusive bigot, Boyd K. Packer, ever takes over. Then again, for us EXMOS, it may be a good thing and further our cause.

Has Mormon Prophet "Gordon B. Hinckley" Ever Lied, Deceived or Connived? Of Course He Has And Once Again, Here Is The Incontrovertible Proof!!

Hey Mormon Truth readers/listeners, I came across this great post today, that brilliantly sums up all of the points that I have been making here on my blog since I started it, on July 31st of last year, 2005. It covers all of the ground that I've covered over and over in various post but combines it all into one. I just felt that he did a great job and I strongly agree with his opinions as well. I just felt that you guys would enjoy and appreciate this.

It's pretty amazing stuff, when you look at it all together in one body of work. This is only 10 of his 17 points and included in the post below, is a link to the full post of 17 items for those that want to check it out.

I've been doing nothing but beating that drum of Hinckley is a "lying, deceiving, conniving, cold-hearted con-artist and vicious fraud", for many months now. To be honest, all of these points are just the tip of the iceberg as there is so much more to the story. I just honestly can't believe that it is so hard for people to see.

Anyway, I'm sure that this will be a walk down memory lane for many of you that have been reading my blog or studying the Mormon Church on a regular basis, but for those that haven't, it just may be educational. Again, I appeal to those that are on the fence; Please read and strongly ponder these things, then open up your mind and ask why did he say them. Could it actually be that the Mormon Church isn't true and a fraud? The answer is a resounding YES!!

Now, onto this great post:

Does Gordon B. Hinckley always tell the truth?

Gordon B Hinckley is president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Most of the time he speaks in vague generalities like "be good" or "isn't it wonderful?" or "I don't know." But sometimes he says specific things, and when you look closely they are often not true. Here are some examples of Gordon B. Hinckley statements that are not true.
longer version of this page - 17 points of the false church

1. Does the church teach that God was once a man? Hinckley says no.

Joseph Smith said this was the first principle of the gospel:

"God himself was once as we are now, and is an exalted man, and sits enthroned in yonder heavens!...........It is the first principle of the gospel to know for a certainty the character of God........yea, that God himself, the father of us all, dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did; and I will show it from the Bible...." (from Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith and History of the Church, 6:302-17. This has also been reprinted in various manuals and church magazines over the years. Truman Madsen, in his popular tapes "Joseph Smith the Prophet" said the church has published this sermon more than any other.)

President Kimball said this a concentrated summary of numerous scriptures:

"You and I--what helpless creatures are we! Such limited power we have, and how little can we control the wind and the waves and the storms! We remember the numerous scriptures which, concentrated in a single line, were stated by a former prophet, Lorenzo Snow: 'As man is, God once was; and as God is, man may become.'" (President Spencer W. Kimball in "Our Great Potential" from the April 1977 Priesthood Session of General Conference)

Just to drive home the point here are a few more quotations:

"Mormon prophets have continuously taught the sublime truth that God the Eternal Father was once a mortal man who passed through a school of earth life similar that through which we are now passing. He became God - an exalted being - through obedience to the same eternal Gospel truths that we are given opportunity today to obey." (Milton R. Hunter, The Gospel Through the Ages, p 104)

"...God...is a personal Being, a holy and exalted man..." (Bruce R. McConkie, Mormon Doctrine, 1966 ed p 250)

"God is an exalted man. Some people are trouble over the statements of the Prophet Joseph Smith ... that our Father in heaven at one time passed through a life and death and is an exalted man..." (Joseph Fielding Smith, Doctrines of Salvation 1:10, 1954, cited from 21st printing 1975):

"President Brigham Young taught ... that God the Father was once a man on another planet who 'passed the ordeals we are now passing through'" ... "The doctrine that God was once a man and has progressed to become a God is unique to this church." ("The Teachings of Brigham Young," Official LDS Lesson Manual, 1997, pages 29,34, )

That last quotation was from the 1997 manual for both Priesthood and Relief Society. What did Gordon B. Hinckley say the same year?

Don Lattin (San Francisco Chronicle religion editor, interviewing Gordon B. Hinckley, April 13, 1997, p 3/Z1): "There are some significant differences in your beliefs [from other Christian churches]. For instance, don't Mormons believe that God was once a man?"

Hinckley: "I wouldn't say that. There was a little couplet coined, "As man is, God once was. As God is, man may become." Now that's more of a couplet than anything else. That gets into some pretty deep theology that we don't know very much about."

Quoted in Time Magazine, Aug 4, 1997: "On whether his church still holds that God the Father was once a man, [Hinckley] sounded uncertain, `I don't know that we teach it. I don't know that we emphasize it... I understand the philosophical background behind it, but I don't know a lot about it, and I don't think others know a lot about it.'"

Hinckley claimed he was misquoted:

"I personally have been much quoted, and in a few instances misquoted and misunderstood. I think that's to be expected. None of you need worry because you read something that was incompletely reported. You need not worry that I do not understand some matters of doctrine. I think I understand them thoroughly, and it is unfortunate that the reporting may not make this clear. I hope you will never look to the public press as the authority on the doctrines of the Church. (1997 October General Conference)"

But you can check the quotes for yourself - even on the original video. And he said the same things on more than one occasion. See www.lds-mormon.com/hwtd.shtml or www.lds-mormon.com/lkl_00.shtml for details.

The next year, 1998, the plain doctrine was again taught in the Ensign - click here to read the whole article on the official church web site. Note that being resurrected implies that a person was once mortal.

"God the Father and His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, are glorified, exalted, resurrected beings, and from the moment of the appearance of the Father and the Son to Joseph Smith, we have known their true nature." (M. Russell Ballard, “Building Bridges of Understanding,” Ensign, June 1998, 62)

The teaching is plain and simple, perhaps the plainest and simplest in all of Mormondom. Yet Hinckley says "I don't know that we teach it." It seems that this church says one thing to its own members and a different thing to the world's media..

2. Does the church publish its budgets for its members to see? Hinckley says yes.

Every other major church makes its accounts public. Every one. They consider it a question of honesty and openness. Yet the Mormon church keeps its accounts secret. Before the Salt Lake Olympics, a German reporter asked Hinckley about this and other things. A transcript of the full interview is here.

Reporter: "In my country, the…we say the people's churches, the Protestants, the Catholics, they publish all their budgets, to all the public.

Hinckley: [agrees]

Reporter: "Why is it impossible for your church?

Hinckley: "Well, we simply think that the…that information belongs to those who made the contribution, and not to the world. That's the only thing. Yes."

This is a very strange thing to say, because no church member ever gets to see the church budgets or accounts. Ever. Most people would say his answer was highly misleading to the German reporter.

3. Is the DNA evidence against Lamanites in North America unproven? Hinckley says it is.

[ From the German reporter's interview:]

Reporter: "Now, Mr. President, one of…one question which is a little bit complicated for me to understand, but I heard it and one colleague asked me to ask it. What will be your position when DNA analysis will show that in the history never have been an immigration from Israel to the North…to North America? It could be that the scientists will find out…"

Hinckley: "Well, it hasn't happened. That hasn't been determined yet. All I can say is that's speculated. No one really knows the answer to that, not at this point."

This is a very strange thing to say because Hinckley has spent most his life in church public relations of some sort, so he should be aware of the facts. He was specifically asked about North America. The reporter was being kind, as if the question had not yet been proven. Yet the DNA evidence against North America as the Book of Mormon location is devastating. Even the apologists, FARMS, have accepted that, and they will not try to defend a North American setting for the Book of Mormon.

Even if we allow the FARMS theory that the Lamanites were hiding in some remote corner of Central America, the DNA evidence is not "speculated" as Hinckley said. It has been established beyond reasonable doubt by the highest standards of scientific inquiry in peer-reviewed journals. DNA destroys the Book of Mormon as a historical record. To say that the issue "hasn't been determined" is like saying the earth is still flat because a few people still believe it.

4. When did polygamy start in the church? Hinckley says it was after 1847.

On Larry King Live (September 8, 1998, after Hinckley was asked about polygamy): "When our people came west they permitted it [polygamy] on a restricted scale."

This is very strange, because polygamy began much earlier than "when our people came west." It was practiced secretly by Joseph Smith since about 1833, when he "married" his first "plural wife," sixteen year old Fanny Alger. Alger is listed by official Mormon sources as Joseph Smith's first plural wife. By 1844 it was practiced by many LDS leaders. It is very strange that Gordon B. Hinckley does not remember this.

5. How many Mormons were "involved in polygamy"? Hinckley says just 2 to 5 percent.

Again from Larry King Live, September 8, 1998: "The figures I have are from -- between two percent and five percent of our people were involved in it [polygamy]. It was a very limited practice."

This is very strange, because before moving to Utah, of the leaders who knew about polygamy, 75 percent practiced it. See D. Michael Quinn, The Mormon Hierarchy: [Volume 1] Origins of Powers, Appendix 6, and the discussion by Packam. After moving to Utah, church elders urged ALL good Mormons to practice it. Numerous sermons say it was essential to salvation. Every president of the church was polygamous until George Albert Smith, who became president in 1945. It is very strange that Gordon B. Hinckley presents it as a very limited practice.]

6. Do we oppose other churches? Hinckley says no.

Speaking on Larry King Live, September 8, 1998: "I say this to other people: you develop all the good you can. We have no animosity toward any other church. We do not oppose other churches. We never speak negatively of other churches."

In last General Conference (October 2005, quoting a poem): " 'I would not sit in the scorner's seat, Or hurl the cynic's ban; / Let me live in a house by the side of the road / And be a friend to man.' That is the way I feel. [I wish] that men might live together in peace without war and contention, argument and conflict."

This is a strange thing to say since Hinckley leads a church that says that no non-Mormon will go to heaven.(The Celestial Kingdom) He divides people from the world into the righteous (Mormons and those who will one day become Mormons) and the unrighteous (everyone else).

This was the very first thing "revealed from God" in the "First Vision": "the personage who addressed me said that all their creeds were an abomination in His sight: that those professors were all corrupt." (Joseph Smith - History 1:18-19)

The whole reason for a restoration was that every other church was so corrupt that it was beyond any hope of reformation.

1 Nephi 14:10 says "And he [God] said unto me: Behold there are save two churches only; the one is the church of the Lamb of God, and the other is the church of the devil; wherefore, whoso belongeth not to the church of the Lamb of God belongeth to that great church, which is the mother of abominations; and she is the whore of all the earth." (See also 1 Nephi 13:6, 14:3, 9; Alma 5:39.)

Until 1990, the temple ceremony included a non-Mormon minister, a representative of all other churches, and he was being paid by Satan.
Mormons say they "never speaking negatively of other churches" but say that other churches are corrupt and inspired by Satan. Things that make you go "hmmm..."

7. Is the church run by only men? Hinckley says no.

Mike Wallace ('Sixty Minutes' TV interview): ''Why must only men run the Church?''

Hinckley: '' 'Only men' do not run the Church. Men have their place in the Church. Men hold priesthood offices of the Church. But women have a tremendous place in this church. They have their own organization. It was started in 1842 by the Prophet Joseph Smith, called the Relief Society, because its initial purpose was to administer help to those in need. It has grown to be, I think, the largest women's organization in the world with a membership of more than three million. They have their own offices, their own presidency, their own board. That reaches down to the smallest unit of the Church everywhere in the world.''

Wallace: ''But they don't have the power.''

Hinckley: ''They have office. They have responsibility. They have control of their organization.''

Wallace: ''But you run it. The men run it. Look, I'm not being . . . ''

Hinckley: ''The men hold the priesthood, yes. But my wife is my companion. In this Church the man neither walks ahead of his wife nor behind his wife but at her side. They are co-equals in this life in a great enterprise.''

This is very strange because clearly men do run the church. It is true that women run some parts of the church, but only if they get permission from the men to do so.

8. Does the church get involved in politics? Hinckley says no.

From an interview broadcast on Compass in Australia, November 9th 1997

DR: "Finally, in Australia as in the US, I understand you ??? government on social issues. Especially in the name of protecting the family. What sort of things would you like to change as far as Australian society is concerned?"

Gordon B. Hinckley: "I don’t know much about your social structure here. I’m only... I only come as a visitor and so I can’t say very much, but I was sorry to read that the great emphasis being put on gambling down in er ..Victoria? Victoria, yes. Institutionally the Church speaks out on moral issues. Other than that we draw a strict line of separation of Church and State. The Church institutionally does not get involved in politics. Does not endorse candidates, does not endorse parties. We encourage our people as citizens of the land to exercise their franchises individuals. And to be active in these things, but as an institution the Church maintains a strict line of separation of Church and State speaking out only when there is a moral question at issue."

Those who remember the Equal Right Amendment Act, or follow the millions being spent attacking gay marriage proposals, or all the other examples where the church gets involved in politics, will know that this "strict line of separation between church and state" is not the case. D.Michael Quinn's book "Extensions of Power" goes into great detail about the church's political work.

9. Do the church's doctrines change? Hinckley says no.

From the same Australian interview:

President Gordon B. Hinckley: "Yes, sir. We are. We have fundamental, basic doctrines which have held fast through more than a 150 years of time. We don’t bend with every wind of doctrine that comes along. Our doctrine is stable, it’s secure. Programs change, we make adaptation according to the circumstances. But the basic doctrine remains the same and that becomes a solid unshifting foundation to which people can cling in this world of instability and drifting values."

Those who have followed the Adam-God doctrine, or the role of polygamy, or blood atonement, or blacks in the pre-existence, will know that the doctrine is anything but stable. In my own time, the church has shifted significantly. Hinckley's own statements on this page show that the doctrine regarding the doctrine of the purpose of life (to become like God) is still changing. (Lets not forget about the many changes in the Temple ceremony, just since 1990.)

10. Does Hinckley accept the scriptures as they stand, or twist them to mislead us?

Finally, Gordon B. Hinckley often quotes from scripture. Some of these scriptures make dramatic claims. If he accepts them as they stand, they are simply not true. But if he has some symbolic meaning in mind, is it not dishonest not to say so? The first example, if literally true, is contradicted by mountains of scientific evidence. The second example, though more easily taken as symbolic, does not apply to the Mormon church unless you twist its meaning violently. Here is the first example:

"There was the great Flood, when waters covered the earth and when, as Peter says, only "eight souls were saved" (1 Peter 3:20)." (A quote from October 2005 conference.)

Discover after discovery has proven that this cannot have happened as the Bible describes. As prophet, Hinckley claims the right to reveal new truths about scripture, but shouldn't he tell us? Many of his listeners will come away believing in a literal global flood, and that would be highly misleading.

Here is the second example: Since the days of Joseph Smith, church leaders have identified the church with the "stone cut without hands" from Daniel 2. Hinckley is no exception.

"The little stone which was cut out of the mountain without hands is rolling forth to fill the earth (see Dan. 2:31–45; D&C 65:2)." (Gordon B. Hinckley, “The State of the Church,” Ensign, Nov. 2003, 4)

This comes from Daniel 2:21-45 which says, in part:

"Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces. Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold [the nations of the world], broken to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors; and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth. ... And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever." (Daniel 2: 34,35, 44)

Hinckley knows enough about church history to know that the church is not fulfilling this prophecy.

First, it does not break in pieces other nations. Whenever the nations of the world have confronted the church (most famously in the troubles in Nauvoo or the Utah war or the polygamy issue) the church has either run away or lost. Today the church tries very hard to be friends with all governments - it shows no interest in breaking them in pieces.

Second, church growth is slowing. While it grew at a reasonable pace up until the mid 1980s, for the past twenty years growth has been slowing. Even before the 1980s it was not like a stone rolling down and gathering speed. After 150 years it was still largely insignificant to non-Mormons. The context of Hinckley's talk shows he means "filling the earth" in the sense of having a peaceful presence in every country. So it is highly misleading for him to use Daniel 2, which speaks of the church growing to a huge size and breaking the other nations into pieces.

And so it goes on. These are just ten examples of Gordon B. Hinckley's teachings. Does he say things that aren't true? Did he just make a poor choice of words? Is he ill-informed? Does he accidentally forget things? Are these all innocent mistakes? You decide.

------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, hopefully you guys enjoyed reading that post as I did!! The biggest mistake that Hinckley ever made, was opening himself to the ridicule and scrutinly of the press. Basicially, he embarrassed himself and his Church, but I'll be forever grateful that he did it, since it greatly helped lead me to my freedom that I now enjoy.

He raised many questions in my mind that I had never, ever had, which led me to research the answers, which led to more questions and deeper study and well, here I am, now a sworn enemy of the Mormon cult and fraud. I will dedicate a portion of my time and my life, for as long as I live, to espose this fraud while hopefully being able to help millions to escape it's grasp. The Mormon Hierarchy are an enemy to humanity and all that's good and the truth must be told.

So, like I've said, over and over, thank you Mr. Gordon B. Hinckley, that through your blatant egotism, arrogance, pride and ultimately stupidy, you've exposed your fraudulant cult, which you call a Church. Everything that you do is done in the name of some God(and $$$, of course) but not any God that the rest of the Christian world is familiar with. Your God and your Jesus, have nothing to do with any reality that may exist on the other side of our existence.
