Elder Mickelsen Can See Your Inner Light?! My Personal Experience!!

First of all, for those that haven't spent the 30 minutes and listened to the talk, you really should, it's very entertaining. The whole thing is so funny to me now that I'm not a "TBM." I just get a kick out of these GA's taking themselves so seriously!! Do they actually believe what they are spewing? I loved his "white shirt" story!! I also enjoyed the "we must chose between eternal life of eternal damnation." He's so condescending and so much better than everyone else and you can tell that when you listen to his talk. If we could only grow up to be like him, one of God's chosen servants!! LOL!!

Here is the TEXT version:

Here is the AUDIO link:

I also had a personal experience with the great Mickelsen while on my mission in Argentina. Hopefully some of you are out there that were in that very conference or had a similar experience with him at a different time and place. I'm sure that this was his little gig everywhere he went. I had made another post about my exit from the Church and this experience with him was one of the things that I have reflected on my whole life. It was something that I could never forget. He was a very arrogant and condescending man!! He acted like he was God!!

Even the mission President was following him around like a little lapdog. It was funny to see that. The man who was always instilling so much fear in us, following another man around with that same fear. It still makes me smile...lol!! It was poetic justice at it's finest!!

It wasn't just from the bottom leaders(district, zone, etc) but it came from the top.....the very top. I mean the area Presidency would rip us apart. We would have mission conferences with Elders Groberg, Ayala,Mickelsen, etc. They all had one common theme....we were sinners and therefore not baptizing "God's elect". If only we would stop masturbating....then God would lead us to the chosen people who were being punished for our masturbation. How stupid!!

Elder Mickelsen came to a complete mission conference and did something amazing, so amazing that us innocent missionaries were actually a little scared of him(I should actually say very scared of him)...haha..I can only laugh now as I look back on it!!

When he arrived....the Great Seventy, I believe Area President at the time, we were all in awe of this man of God. He then proceeded to walk the entire chapel and shake the hand of every missionary in attendance and spew a little BS while he did it. How are you, so nice to meet you, etc as he shook our hands while all smiles.(Little did we know what he was really doing that for?!!) So on completion of that little ritual, it was time for him to talk.

He began his talk by saying(smile gone, now very serious) that as he shook the hand of every missionary, he could see their light, the light of Christ. Some of us had very bright lights and some of us had very dim lights or hardly any light at all. I know now that this was a complete load of crap as they wouldn't even know if a forger/murderer was in their midst....like say Mark Hoffman? How many documents did they buy, like 48? Wow!! But he could see our light, some very bright, some dim, the dim ones must have been the masturbators, right? I mean what intimidation to do and say what he did!! What a disgrace!!

What fear he instilled in us, that he could see our very souls and know if we were good or bad, if we masturbated or not, basically. I mean every missionary was looking around as if to say, crap, I'm busted!! ha ha!! I mean it was ridiculous that we bought the act but we were programmed to believe it.

I hoped it wasn't true but assumed it was. I'm sure that there were some there that didn't buy it but I would say that the majority bought it hook line and sinker, including me. So the major theme on a mission and always one of the first questions in every Mission President interview I had was, "do you masturbate Elder"? So naturally, every missionary was obsessed with this and then to have a Seventy say that "he knew" our light, well, needless to say, there were a lot of freaked out missionaries. (I always felt that maybe he should have pointed out to the Pres all of the very dim lights so that they could have been helped, right? Maybe he should have met with them individually or something? If he really cared and loved the Missionaries, Christ's servants, why didn't he try to help them? Only problem is, he had no idea who they were...ha ha..lol!! His entire act was a load of crap, he knew it, God knew it and he couldn't deny it..lol!!)

But that is the very mind control and scare tactics that they use on the missionaries. They operate in complete fear and that is what the Church wants and strives for. They want complete control over the bodies and minds of all members, especially the missionaries, right down to their underwear!! Those who admit to their masturbation while on a mission are blacklisted and never rise to leadership positions and that my friends is a fact. At least Elder Mickelsen was able to determine whose lights were bright and whose were dim, not that it mattered anyway, as he then took off in his luxury rental car, back to his five star hotel and then he jetted off to some other place to pull the same charade!!

Gordon B. Hinckley knows the "real" truth, isn't it obvious?!!

The other possibility that I'll throw out there, after carefully analyzing all of his talks, is that he is maybe the most "honest" Prophet/GA that we've ever had. What I'm saying is that obviously he knows that it's all a fraud and is basically trying to tell us it is, without coming out directly and saying it. Part of me wants to say that it is his cry for help...lol!! He's caught in the cult and can't get out!! He wants our help!! But then I remember how much he enjoys his lifestyle and perks and I don't feel so bad for him!! He would never want to lose his lifestyle!!

In other words, when he says he doesn't know this and that, this and that doctrine isn't true, that isn't taught anymore, he "thinks" he gets revelation, etc, he is just telling the truth because he really knows that it's all a joke anyway. That's why the best he can come up with is canceling homecomings/farewells, women can't wear two sets of earrings, gambling is evil, etc. Just stupid, little petty things is the best he can do, because he has no more revelation than you or I!!

I'm sure that at one point he truly believed in the Church and that Jesus would visit him. But after 50 years as a GA, 10 or so as Prophet, many more as acting Prophet and still no personal visitation from Jesus, well, he must have concluded by now, that it was truly all a farce. I mean, at this point, he isn't even sure if he gets "revelation from God." "Just give me the checkbook and I'll be fine", he says!!

So, my point is that he is different because Hinckley is really the first "modern day" GA or Prophet that actually almost admits that the Church is a fraud. I guarantee you that Thomas Monson and all the others would never say what he says, NEVER!!! They must cringe when they hear him say the things he does but then he throws in the "earring revelation" just to keep everyone in line and let them know that he is in Charge and indeed the Prophet.

So what it comes down to is that Hinckley knows the Church is Bogus but loves being "The Man". He loves the power, the multi-million dollar condo, the money, the star treatment, the limos, the bodyguard and the life of a rich and famous man. He would never give up that lifestyle even though he knows the Church is false. I'm sure he rationalizes, "I've given my whole damn life to this Church and I'll be damned if I'm not gonna enjoy the perks of finally being the big man on campus to the end." "I'm gonna spend money like there's no tomorrow, I'm gonna go crazy on temple building(They'll remember me as the temple and conference center builder), buy malls, buy streets, build luxury resorts, build a World Trade Tower and nobody is gonna stop me."

I think that for him, it is almost a game, that he is having fun stirring up the pot and making references to the fact that the Church isn't true. He loves "trying the faith" of the Saints with the Earrings and canceling homecomings and farewells. There is no doubt that he is a control and power freak and he just wants to see how far he can take it. He wants to see just how far he can push the members.

Personally, I think his little game is backfiring. As Tal Bachman said a while back, how many members have left now because of him, 50,000? It's probably even higher than that!! Any rational thinking member who reads his interviews, can only conclude one thing, that the Church is false and that he isn't a Prophet of God. But in the end, as long as he lives the life of a rich and powerful man, a "Prophet" of God, can keep spending billions on construction projects and spending money like water and throwing out stupid cult controlling "revelations", he will be happy to the end!!

Forget Moroni's Promise, Put Hinckley's Promise To The Test!!

Here is a quote from Gordon B. Hinckley's "loyalty" talk in the April 2003 conference:

"Each of us has to face the matter—either the Church is true, or it is a fraud. There is no middle ground. It is the Church and kingdom of God, or it is nothing."

Hinckley has said this on numerous occasions in interviews, etc, but here is one time where he actually said it in General Conference which makes it "official doctrine", right? So basically, everything is true, EVERYTHING, or EVERYTHING is false!! He makes it ALL OR NOTHING which is a very dangerous thing to do!! This should make someone's decision to leave the church much easier when they have questions and don't agree with something that the church does or says. Like Hinckley says, "the Church is true, or it is a fraud. There is no middle ground. It is the Church and kingdom of God, or it is nothing."

So, with that being said, if the Church is indeed true, it means that Joseph Smith marrying a 14 year old, promising her family ETERNAL LIFE in return, was from God and true? Marrying other men's wives and other men's already "pregnant wives"(pregnant by their "real husband"), was from God and true? Sending men on missions and marrying their wives while they were gone was from God? Marrying sisters(his adopted daughters..incest?) and a Mother and daughter pair was from God? Joseph Smith trying to sell the copyright of the BOM was inspired of God? Praying in 1823 to find out if there was a divine being that existed after having had "The First Vision" in 1820 was from God?

EVERYTHING WAS FROM GOD? Well, according to the Mormon Prophet Gordon B. Hinckley, YES..it was ALL FROM GOD & inspired!!

Brigham Young saying that Blacks should be executed on the spot if they mix with the white race was true or from God? Brigham Young teaching that you had to get your head cut off & also your children if you mixed your seed with the seed of Cain/blacks was also inspired? Buying 48 or some large amount of Mark Hoffman forgeries was from God? Oh yeah, and that was without ever receiving any revelation or warning from God or even the slightest inkling of a feeling, at any point, that he was a murderer and forger and about to kill people?!!

These are true Prophets, inspired of God?!

How about the Seventy, Lee, who was a child molester for years, right under their noses, as he talked at General Conferences, stake conferences, wrote for the Ensign and fulfilled his calling as a Seventy? Some of his talks & articles are still posted on LDS.org or on BYU broadcasting..that's inspired?! That was from God too? They had no clue yet they are "special witnesses" of Jesus Christ?

How about all of the cases of child molestation that go on in the scouts, Sunday school, Bishops, etc, without them ever knowing? Is that also inspiration from God? Receiving revelations from God on trivial matters such as how many earrings a woman wears, canceling missionary homecomings and farewell's or spending BILLIONS on a mall for Jesus, trumps knowing whether child molestations, rape or abuse is happening anywhere in the Church?

That's men directly inspired by God?!!

Why not warn the world about something worthwhile, that can save lives, like earthquakes, terrorism or Tsunami's that are about to strike and kill hundreds of thousands of Men, women and children? These are divinely inspired men of God? REALLY?!! Blacks not having the Priesthood until 1978 because they were cursed as the "seed of Cain" with "flat noses & black skin" and "not worthy" in the Pre-existence, was from God?!

The "better off dead chaste than alive unchaste" teaching is from God? The statement that "there is no true Latter-Day Saint that wouldn't rather bury a son or daughter than to have him or her lose his or her chastity" is from God?!!

It is better for a woman to die fighting in cases of rape or incest than to live having lost her virtue without a struggle to the death is from God? Former Mormon Prophet Spencer W. Kimball thought so & taught that doctrine, which was inspired & true, right?!

I guess the people living on the moon and the sun are also real & true? I guess Brigham Young's Adam is our Heavenly Father..the Adam-God theory, is true? That God, was once like man, living on an earth teaching, is true? Now Hinckley denies both being true!! Either they are true or not, right?!! What's up Hinckley?! These things couldn't have once been true and now they are suddenly false if they were inspired teachings of God! No middle ground, remember?!!

I could go on and on and on but hey, according to Hinckley, either it's all true or it isn't!! These are all things right out of official Church history and teachings & easily proven!! You can't hide them and pretend that they aren't there. I remember hearing a quote from Hinckley in a talk were he said that, "he treasured every bit of history in the Church and that once again, it was either all inspired of God or completely false." They can't have exceptions according to Hinckley, "no middle ground."

Basically, according to Hinckley, if you find ONE THING, JUST ONE, about the Church, that isn't inspired or from God, the Church is false and a complete fraud! It really simplifies the entire process now doesn't it?!!

Just based on Hinckley's interviews and responses, we can know that the Mormon Church is indeed a complete fraud. They are not allowed to only pick out the good things and say, "see, look how true it is" while discarding all the bad stuff. Do they allow members to do that with their personal lives? No middle ground!!

You can't just quote what "Brigham Young" said when it's convenient and it matches what you are currently saying while just throwing out everything else the nut job said. He taught the Adam-God doctrine, as the Prophet of God for what, 25 or so years? Inspired of God? Apparently it was then but now it isn't.

So, like I said, it should make things a lot easier for a lot of people when they apply Hinckley's very simple formula that either everything is wonderful and inspired of God or it isn't. I say not a chance in hell that it's all inspired!!

If it is..I certainly don't want to know or live with that jacked up Mormon God who believes in child brides, child molestation & rape in his name(through his perverted & criminal prophets), lying, covering up truth, committing adultery,  teaching racism, sexism, homophobia, commanding polygamy & polyandry, giving earring revelations to his Prophet over saving lives, while spending BILLIONS on building shopping malls & construction projects over feeding the poor & giving shelter to the homeless, etc, etc.

Suddenly everything is very clear and it's just not that hard to figure things out Mr. Hinckley when you put it that way..THANKS!!
