Thank you for posting this and for exposing the bigoted, hate-filled Mormons for what they are. Hiding behind their millions and trying to enforce their false "morals" on the rest of the society, while YANKING basic civil rights from a specific group of people. They have been planning this for almost 11 years and hid behind the Catholic Church to get their dirty work done. Look at these memos from 1997:

I'm working on another post right now that will expose and include the links to all of the bigoted MORmON donors(names and where they live), both big and small, so that everyone will know who the bigots are.
This is public information, which they knew when they donated and I'm just helping to share public information that society should know. I want everyone to know just who these bigots are and if they’re their neighbors, friends, family members, etc. They need to be exposed for who they are.
I'm also going to discuss the Steve Young situation, where his wife courageously, strongly and publicly opposed Proposition 8 and the MORmON PRophet Tommy boy Monson and his cronies of hate, bigotry, racism, homophobia, sexism, etc. Of course Steve Young was too big of a pussy to take a stand and chose his beloved cult of hate and cult leaders over supporting his own wife and family...at least publicly. What a disgrace of a man!! Oh yeah, his wife also donated $50,000 of their money, but I guess he was against that too, right? Sounds like his wife isn’t bowing her head and saying yes, like the bitch Steve Young is doing, for his beloved Tommy Boy.
In Steve’s pathetic statement(he wouldn’t be interviewed, just read a statement like the coward he is), he invoked “the Savior”, how much he loved his wife and family, that it made them stronger, and oh...that they loved the church(cult) and fully supported their leaders, which obviously IS NOT TRUE when it comes to his wife who now stands in open apostasy against the MORmON cult. She is no longer eligible for her temple recommend and should be stripped of it immediately, which means her “eternal marriage” and “eternal family”, is now in jeopardy because of her choice to do the right thing by showing love, compassion, understanding(Christlike attributes, right?) and standing up against hate and bigotry.
The Bishop’s Handbook of instructions clearly states:
“Bishops and their counselors must take exceptional care when issuing recommends to members whose PARENTS or other CLOSE RELATIVES belong to or SYMPATHIZE with apostate groups. Such
members must DEMONSTRATE CLEARLY that they REPUDIATE these apostate religious teachings BEFORE THEY MAY BE ISSUED A RECOMMEND.”(THAT’S FOR YOU STEVE YOUNG!!)
So it's crystal clear that Steve Young, if he supports his wife at all and doesn't repudiate her beliefs; is also no longer eligible for his temple recommend and has lost his "eternal family" and "eternal marriage."
Temple recommend question #6 says:
“Do you AFFILIATE with ANY GROUP or INDIVIDUAL whose TEACHINGS or PRACTICES are CONTRARY TO or OPPOSE those accepted by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, or do you SYMPATHIZE with the PRECEPTS OF ANY SUCH GROUP OR INDIVIDUAL?”
My question is; will the bigot Tommy Boy Monson and his bigoted thugs now go after Steve Young’s wife and excommunicate her, like they want to do to Andrew Callahan of Nebraska(for simply being against proposition 8 and creating a website where others could sign a petition against it, which they recently delivered to the MORmON cult office building) and everyone else that opposed Proposition 8 that is Mormon, like the Mormon mothers(who have gay children) who met the other night and held a candlelight vigil in Salt Lake?

What about Harry Reid, the current Democratic Senate majority leader, who openly opposes a Constitutional ban on gay marriages and who openly supports and votes for gay rights and marriage? Has Tommy Boy gone after him yet and had his ass called into a "court of love?"
Of course not, because he's a hypocrite and it would be way too scandalous and cause way too much damage to the cult and be too much bad PR...so they just go after good, non-public guys like Andrew Callahan for simply daring to publicly express his views on Proposition 8, that are contrary to the cult and their bigoted "God/Jesus."
Chad Hardy was also singled out, harassed, spied on, lied about and then hypocritically excommunicated by the direct orders of Tommy Boy Monson for simply creating his “Men On A Mission” Calendar of shirtless men.
Trust me when I say that much more is shown to the public(I'll be posting videos and pictures soon), in a much more provocative way, at the MORmON owned and operated Polynesian Cultural Center, by scantly clad men and women, all church employees and BYU-Hawaii students. But they singled out and excommunicated Chad? Every guy and gal dancing at the PCC should be excommunicated as well as EVERY MORmON General Authority including Tommy Boy, The First Presidency, 12 Asspostles and all of the Seventies for this grievous transgression.
Oh, did I mention that at the PCC they also serve caffeinated Coke(which is banned at BYU and Hinckley said it was banned by the Word Of Wisdom) and gasp....caffeinated COFFEE!!
So, when you go to the church owned and operated PCC, the MORmON church will have their BYU-Hawaii students serving you caffeinated beverages and Coffee(which would cost you your eternal life and prevent you from entering the temple and from even getting baptized), which if they were to partake of...would cause them to lose their Ecclesiastical endorsement and get kicked out of BYU. So, they can serve it for their God/Jesus and PRophet(PROFIT), but cannot drink it or they're SCREWED!!

"The Church acknowledges that such an emotionally charged issue concerning the most personal and cherished aspects of life - family and marriage - stirs fervent and deep feelings.
The Church calls on those involved in the debate over same sex marriage to act in a spirit of mutual respect and civility towards each other. No one on either side of the question should be vilified, intimidated, harassed or subject to erroneous information."
Wow, does that include Andrew Callahan of Nebraska, whose "court of love" was postponed until after the vote? So, by going after him for expressing his opinion, they weren't "vilifying" him or "intimidating" him, "harassing" him or threatening him?
Did they act "in a spirit of mutual respect and civility towards Andrew? Did they care about his "fervent and deep feelings"(anti-bigotry feelings) that were stirred in him and that were contrary to the fucking bigot Thomas S. Monson, who hates and despises gays(among many groups he hates) and backed it up with millions of tithing dollars?
I'm sure that now that their bigotry was approved by the voters of California, they'll be going after him with both barrels and eager to excommunicate and embarrass him for daring to question their hatred and bigotry. Kudos to his wife for being such a pillar of light and actually having the guts to stand up for what she knows is right, even if her husband is not as brave as she is. I find the hypocrisy so chilling in regards to Harry Reid. The fact that ex-communication applies to some & not all is almost laughable.
To maeglin, please do not confuse frustration with hatred. We are NOT filled with hate. We are concerned about equality and liberties that are SUPPOSED to be afforded to everyone in this country. I find it ironic that you feel comfortable with throwing this down:

Regardless of how you feel about gays and whether it is a "mental illness," as you state (which is simply WRONG by the way) or if gays were born gay - that simply does NOT give you the right to not follow the Constitution. It just doesn't.
While I do feel that the Mormon church needs to be exposed on SO many levels so that those within it now and those contemplating joining it, do not fall victim to their false teachings & waste their minds and life worshiping such a ridiculous religion ... on a whole, I know that ultimately, it is a person's RIGHT to worship any way they see fit. However, when a church crosses the line and starts DICTATING and ENFORCING their beliefs on the society in which they live in, that is simply NOT acceptable and is actually SPECIFIED in the Constitution that it will not be allowed.
Calling Mormons hypocrites and bigots became necessary when THEY crossed the line and felt it was their duty to tell the rest of society what they were allowed to do, who they were allowed to love and what limits would be placed on their rights.
Simply put, had your church kept their beliefs within their walls, as they are supposed to, the tactics to fight for equality would not have to be employed. But the Mormons started this and it is NOT right to have to sit back and take it. They do NOT have the right to enforce their false teachings on others and on one specific group in particular.
Again, please do not confuse hate with reason. Please open up a science book and catch up to the rest of the world when it comes to proof and evidence in regards to biology. You have your own brain and can think things through without blindly following what your church leaders tell you. It's ok to use critical thinking skills and to see that the founding fathers of this country intended for everyone to be treated equally and have the same opportunities, liberties and rights as the next person. Step outside of your "Mormon box" for once and think of how YOU would feel if you were the one being denied YOUR rights. Regardless of how you feel about gays - taking them away is simply WRONG!!!
