Utah's Spin On Mitt Romney's "Nightline Interview" And Presidential Campaign.

This video is the local, Utah, ABC affiliate's opinion and take on Mitt Romney. If they kissed his ass anymore, we'd have to call a proctologist.

It's pretty obvious that these folks are either Mormons, or love Mormons and Mitt Romney more than life itself.

  1. Samuel,

From what I could tell from the video, it seemed objective to me. It didn't appear to me as if anyone was kissing his ass. Could you elaborate on that?

Personally, I haven't found anything objectionable that he has said. When reporters ask him questions about his faith, he responds by saying that a persons faith should not have anything to do with their campaign, which I completely agree with.

He sounds serious and I can only hope he is truthful. But then again, he is a politician and they aren't necessarially known for being truthful, are they?

Overall, I don't think we have too much to worry about. I highly doubt if a Mormon will ever become president.

  2. You didn't notice? I mean okay, the guy ran the Utah Olympics, did a great job, is the Governor of another state, but he doesn't even live in Utah. The only reason they are covering him, is because He's a Mormon.

    Chris said:

"The LDS church is going to great lengths to maintain its political neutrality, will not endorse or promote any candidate."

Yeah, after they got busted by the Boston Globe and after Romney came to town to meet with Jeffrey E. Holland. I mean come on, this was ass kissing 101, to make sure that that everyone knows the Mormon church is politically neutral, when we know that's the furthest thing from the truth.

Is Mitt Romney Politically Connected To The Mormon Hierarchy?!!

The only thing they care about is getting Mitt into the Whitehouse and keeping their tax exempt status. I hope more evidence comes to light and that somebody finds something, that will expose the true links between the Mormon Hierarchy and Mitt Romney. It's about time that the Mormon Hierarchy had another huge scandal, isn't it?

They are just being more careful now and maybe talking to him when he's in the temple or something, so that it can't be proven...LOL!!

  5. Channel 4, Channel 5 and Channel 2 are all owned by Bonneville Communications now, which is owned by 'the church'.

So that's your answer as to the bum smoochies.

  6. I never realized that Romney organized the olympics. Guess I just wansn't paying attention. Pretty strange considering he is Governor of Mass. And yes, I agree that he would not be getting nearly the publicity he is if he was not Mormon.

  8. I jusst do not want a cult follower in the White House. Mormonism is one wacked out bizarre cult.

One could argue that all religions are cults, though. That point does have some merit.

However, looking at all of the shenanigans of Joseph's Myth, let's face it, they guy was just not truthworthy. He was a conman from the get go.

no reasonable person can look at the life and works of Joseph's Myth and conclude that the guy was honest.

Cult is started, cult it remains. no matter how hard they try to take it mainstream, it is a cult.

I believe that religion should not make a difference, but a CULT? Yes, I do think that should make a HUGE difference.

  9. All I know is, while at Ricks college, age 17, I was molested by a married man with 4 boys. Mormons are a CULT and are very dangerous.

  10. The word cult means- expressing religous reverence, the object of such devotion. Mormons are not all dangerous. I am sorry about what happened to you, but as a mormon I would never in my life do something like that. Just because there are a few bad apples that happen to be from a particular religous group, does not mean that is the reflection of everyone else in that religon. Even mormons are still human and some are bound to make some very bad choices. If your brother had done that to someone does that mean your whole family is bad? No that one person choose for himself to do wrong. Before you judge Joseph Smith so hard you should read his history. He went threw alot of greif and suffering to bring about something he believed in.And even he may have made mistakes. If you go back to the Tuesday February 27th blog You can read where I put all the good that the church has done for people all over the world. We are a religon that believes in helping others, and not all information you hear is true. If someone told me you were a cruel person who hates animals and lies all the time, should I just asume theyaretelling the truth even though I know nothing about you, or should I find out for myself, because they could just be saying those things just because they don't like you? As for this Romney guy, He is trying to do his job while maintaining his beliefs. It does not mean he is going to come out with a law stating everyone now has to become Mormon, if he was of any other faith he would not be so singled out, it is that people are not as familar with this religon, so it scares people a little more. You can go to www.lds.org and find out what we really are about. Just remember there are rotten people from every religon, but its not a reflection on the religon itself.
